About Genealogy Matters Press

Genealogy Matters Press publishes and supports family history projects rooted in research, memory, evidence, and care. Our work includes books by Robin Stewart, collaborative publications such as GenStack Anthology 2025, and Genealogy Matters Magazine, a primarily digital publication for family history writers.

We believe family historians are not only researchers. They are stewards, interpreters, writers, and keepers of stories that might otherwise remain scattered in files, photographs, documents, oral histories, and private memory.
